They MUTILATED the anime by censoring so much... There's so much censoring that it makes it look like a little kid standing next to Elfen Lied, which is untrue if you've ever read the manga.

Gah, just venting out my frustration on the missing gore ;P

Hey, Gantz is a ground breaking anime. The first anime to be aired on public TV that had porn in it. :O Big event there already. Also, I can't really blame them, it's a bit too heavy on gore for younger kids that might watch it (by younger I'm talking about teenagers).

The chances of me watching GANTZ is pretty low compared to my chances of watching Wolf's Rain, Noein, Last Exile, Gakuen Alice, VanDread, Trinity Blood, and Mushihi.

But the heavily censored gore makes it... cheap. Heck, even Blood+ had more gore than it.

I take back what I said. This show is so good even without the gore in it! Seeing Kuruno Kei get a hard-on after thinking about Kishimoto Kei, seeing Kuruno Kei plan out his 'first night' with her (down to the shoplady's mischevious stares) etc was so freakin hilarious.

Maybe it's just me, but is the art is ... bad? O.o
