Mawaru Penguin Drum [Spoilers]

I figure with episode 17 coming out next week, and it being close to the end, we should all put our brains (for those that have watched the show) together to attempt to solve the "What-the-f^*k?"

So, I'll try to put up any loose ends, starting with Episode 16, this is the last spoiler alert I will give, just assume spoilers:

So, it appears as though, the wheel of fate as per this show is drawn out in multiple ways. There is a crazy character layout, I'm not even going to try to layout, I will attempt to if someone asks, but it gives me headache thinking about it, almost everyone is related. So, the last two episodes showed us that Momoka kept on screwing around with fate, changing it up, and so Kanba and Masako's father (another link) and other people have been set up to change back what she has done (I'm assuming.) This still leaves "What is in the diary?" and also the main question of Himari or Mario, because Masako explained earlier that only one of them could be saved, and that all depended on who got the complete diary first. (Again, I don't know if this is true now.) So, if next episode they switch back to Yuri / Ringo / Shoma, what will it cover? Also, what is with all these apple things? I understand about the story of the boys and girl stealing the apple from the tree of the goddess, however, I just don't know how that metaphor can lay over the story as we know it. Okay, enough Penguindrum my head is hurting thinking through this. (or trying to. )

Try not to think too hard on this one. Just go with the flow, man. Frankly, most of the problems stem out of the characters' assumptions about each other and themselves. Hence, most of the problems would go away if they could correct their assumptions.

Lack of explanation of Momoka is what is making me so lost.

Not just their assumptions about one another, but also their own hatred / liking of fate seems to play an integral part of this.

Again, much of the series operates on a philosophical level.

True. I'm going to have to chug the entire thing one night to make it all stick. It's not that long, however, it would be interesting to flow out each character, and how they are related.

The first thing that came to my head were "F**k the Police" then I realized that I don't live in S.C. anymore.

Why would you call the police?

One of the character's names is Ringo, which means "apple." Insert her name into that sentence, and you will get why I would call the police.

Definitely just meant apples not Ringo. Although....I'm sure Ringo is delicious too.

Well, I think they'd disagree with that as soon as they see me.

You mean that they would find your appearance disagreeable.

No, I mean that they'd be like "What? This kid is insane? Nah, dog, no he's not."

....just hope they don't search my computer.
