Summer Season already?! Spring hasn’t even started! Oh well

Shows:

Appleseed XIII: Pushed up a season huh
Idolmaster: A-1 Pictures. Have to follow as usual
Baka to Test Season 2: Love the 1st season
Usagi Drop: Probabaly again one of my favorite shoujo manga being adapted
Dantalian no Shoka: Like to see how Ganiax handle this series. Also no random stupid ending as usual please since this is a light novel adaptation!
Kami-sama no Memo-chou: Heard good things about it from you guys on Baka so gonna try.

I know anime is known for adopting Light novels but isn’t this too much? At least novels that are still in work-in-progress? I would rather if they worked on complete works. Also I find it funny how fast we are trying to translate novels that are being popularized by anime industry giving more traffic here.

Unfortunately, no one is translating Kami-Memo yet, and everyone is saying it's a rip-off of Gosick. isn't it like "duh"?

Basically, these are the confirmed ones that I'll watch. Don't know yet for the OVAs and the movies. But Hayate no Gotoku, FMA and Kore wa Zombie will probably be watched.

Lol, I'm already traumatized by the number of bad adaptation in these past years.For baka test, remembering watching the season 1 already make me lose any spirit I have to take on season 2. For kami memo, I still have doubt, but will probably follow it for a few episodes just to see how good the adaptation is. For Dantalian no Shoka, I will probably look at some review to see what's it about and took the novel instead. Same with Itsuten, except for this one I already read the first volume.

I'm not much of television person because I prefer books usually. I usually just took on some interesting original anime(like C, hanasaku iroha, and ano hana on spring) and prefer to read the original source for the adaptation. Like I said, I will probably watch a few episodes of some series that I think have interesting premises, and will probably only pick 3 or 4 of what I think is best, if there's enough good one that is.

^ i don't blame your logic as there has been poor adaptation. As I said before if the anime industry just take their time to flesh out completed novels instead of the current generation that are still in run. i think we can enjoy it. these ln are getting popular b/c we can see characters moeized and animated. I would never watch harry potter until i read all the books. some movies i saw i didn't know was adapted from a book (jurassic park and forrest gump) due to young age and igonarnce. movies like "I am Legend" should not be a excuse not to read the book if u are aware is from a book, especially a good one too.
