i'm not too good at summaries, but anyway.. it's originally an adult VN for the PC released july last year, and just this july a 'clean' version was released for the PS2. the anime started airing the 2nd of this month, so ep 3's due 36++hrs from this post's time. Eclipse' doing the subbing btw, so i would guess they'd have it up on torrent form a day or 2 later after the ep hits nihon airwaves.

first impressions.. saying it's just another fast-paced comedic high school love story just won't cut it. though aside from aya hirano's character, everyone else's seiyu more or less lie within the bounds of typecasting..

It feels like I watched something close to it. But I wonder what...

P.S. They need to switch the seiyuu for the Nanoha look-a-like to Tamura Yukari fast or I'll go crazy >_>

Eclipse' probably doing it because of the harem theme, or perhaps because of the lead female being rie kugimiya.. (just guessing.. not a member)

and your reference to Final Approach is quite on the mark, that is, guy between a stranger fiancee and a somehow incestuous imouto.

that Nanoha-look-a-like, are you talking about the one done by aya hirano? (her character, btw, REALLY takes quite a lot of getting used to, more like the kawaii factor in her voice is liable to make some ears hurt..)

the way it is now, my torrent list of backlogged anime grows longer and longer with each year: school rumble, FMP, gankutsuou, shuffle, da capo, etc..

Speaking of school rumble, how many seasons of the anime is there? I saw people posting up OVAs for season 3, yet there was no season 3 itself... Or did i miss that?

i do remember hearing about san gakki (school rumble's 3rd, in the tradition of ni gakki), i think it aired near the end of last year until early this year..

*edit* whoops, got it wrong.. when i first saw san gakki at mininova i thought it was for a new series (because it never said anything about being an OVA in the first place). i just checked it up on wikipedia to get my info straight..

and it just so happened that i read a mention of AS near the end of school rumble's wiki.. talk about receiving a cease-and-desist order from Media Factory..

And... anyone knows anywhere where i can download a small filesize FMP seasons? I havent watched any yet... Preferably in rmvb format please =X Its half the size of an avi, and almost equal in quality!!

Heh. 80mb anime. Real men download the 330MB HQ HD MKVs. (In other news, my FMP:TSR boxset came a couple days ago, plus my kanon disk 6, strawberry panic novel 2 and FMP novel 3)

Sorry, I am not a real man. I am just a little otaku in a little corner, seeking to keep as much anime as possible... I have filled over 200gb of harddisk space already... And is having time finding space for more anime. Either i need a new harddisk, or i need to get smaller file formats.

get a new hard disk.. or better yet, buy one of those portable hard disks (those you see inside laptops, modified..) just plug it to a USB port and you can get upwards of 160GB - i remember seeing one with stats of up to 320GB. just transfer all the anime you haven't accessed for awhile, and your free space returns just like that.

*as for me.. i just make do with burning them data format into DVDs.. tough electronics here (tough being not made in China) can be insanely painful to my wallet..*

Yeah, DVDs... Been a while since i burnt anything... But burning them makes you feel as though it will always be there, even harder to bring yourself to watch it, thinking "I can watch it anytime, it is MINE!"

But reality is... there are more new animes coming up to watch than giving you breaks from time to time to clear off those in stock >"<

And the worst part?? YOU CAN NEVER COMPLAIN ABOUT TOO MUCH ANIME!!
