i've watched it a few times when my little sister had nick on, i actually think the pr0n flash game of it has more plot than the show itself

Re: Avatar: The Last Airbender
I've watched it. Seems like averagish shounen fare, but certainly worth watching.
Is it anime? No.
Is it good nonetheless? Yes.

Re: Avatar: The Last Airbender
lol omg
I was just upstairs watching that! I have no clue what the series was about but judging the movie itself it doesn't seem too bad. There was a proliferation of rather cheesy lines, something to be expected of children's shows, but the design of the show made up for it. I'm suprised that's the end of the series, there seems to be more they could do - perhaps gauging how successful the movie is, they might continue the series?

I hated the Deus Ex Machina part of the show, but then again it is written for children.

Re: Avatar: The Last Airbender
One of my all time favorite nickshows, up there with spongebob and fairly odd parents =).
However, I have to say while I really liked the series, and the movie...I was a bit disappointed with parts of the movie. They seemed to be rushing to get the series over. There were cheesy lines...things like Zuuko's reunion with his uncle was a bit played down, the firelord looked like a joke really....I mean, he was okay while beating on aang, but when it started to turn around and aang just began chasing him....example, the comet's there, and aang is still resisting the fire with a little rock protection...i mean c'mon. I can understand avataar state, but when he was normal, his rocks were resisting the firelords fire...the comet must not have been that powerful...it only looked kool when the firenation was burning the whole land. There wasn't even half that power in the Firelord when he was fighting aang. The ending just seemed too....whooooosh it's over. I think the rest of the series was much better than the movie, but I still did enjoy the movie.
Idk...but something happened to zuuko's mother, possibly around that time was when the firelord stopped being happy, there are still some plot things to unravel.

I think they're going to milk the series some more and release another Book, namely the Book of Air (which is the only element that hasn't been a "book" yet).

Re: Avatar: The Last Airbender
I feel kind of sorry for them naming-wise.
Since Avatar just came out, they had to truncate the movie's name down to The Last Airbender.
Not that the movie looks like it's going to be quality anyway.
