"critically acclaimed", and i'd agree with you.. but "greatest"? objectively, i'd think it'd fall under B or B-, and that's me being generous.
seeing how JC Staff does LN adaptations - with the glaring exception of Toradora! - i still stick to what i said years ago. "it would have been better if KyoAni did Shana."

I really do not care because SnS ended in a way that made me no longer care. It was like trying to do a 5-minute fight on a certain planet in a certain series in a way that was drawn out and boring.

It felt like all they did was talk after hyping the fight so much.

Personally, I found the series to be much more enjoyable than other 2nd or 3rd season series. Or 4th (ZnT).
