Spoiler! :
Father IS NOT Hohenheim’s evil twin.

He was made when the Xerxes alchemists took blood from slave #23 (Hohenheim) and I believe he was made to reveal the secrets of the gate (aka. the Truth) without having to perform human transmutation

All Father did was "repay" Slave #23 for giving him life (the blood), and he does that by giving the slave a name (identity), knowledge (probably the Truth), and immortality.

Why does he give Hohenheim all that? Probably because he believes the ultimate goal of humans is to be remembered as the guy who knows everything and can never die

Oh please, don't be so pedantic with petty semantics and take everything so literally. This is an anime discussion, not a philosophical or academic debate.

And don't give me any of that "Serious Business" bullcrap. (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/M ... usBusiness) 8)

You know exactly what I mean by "evil twin" in this context, of Homunculus cloning Hohenheim's body and using it for his own purpose.

oh god i don't know whether to hate or like this episode:
Spoiler! :
the one moment, the thy ONE MOMENT i've been waiting for was How f*cking badass when Hawkeye told Mustang Selim is a homunculus but nooo they down-played it. sigh

Other issue is how fast this episode went. I wanted to see Hohenheim teaching other slaves. I like that part alot.
Is it true the reason is going so fast is to crammed a 52 episodes time slot?

We'll probably either get an anime original ending or another season since at the rate they're going, ep. 52 will cover ~ch. 103.

The story is largely similar at the start, and is just as good. Both stories are really good with unique and good ideas. Its perfectly fine to watch both seasons. I watched FMA first, and I had wondered whether to try brotherhood, since I have read the manga, and the first anime covered quite a bit of similar parts, but when i tried brotherhood, it was totally well done and drew me in. So, feel free to give it a try if you wanna, you wont suffer any loss
I watched it........ and it's AWESOME!!!!! I did feel the pace was a bit too quick and the emotions weren't carried out too well, but I love all the intrigues and details. Plus, there's more Winry and, geez, Armstrong's sister! :D I never knew he even had a sister... the northern fortress plot line is absolutely fantastic.

Gosh, if they're going to cram the remaining things in 12 episodes, I feel they're not doing the series justice. Unless they pull out a Code Geass s1 style of ending , and starting the

in an OVA, or a movie of sorts. While I liked the anime A LOT (I prefer it to s1), with Chp 80+ becoming more action-packed, I hate to see them speed things up like a bullet train.

Spoiler! :
ed got impaled but the voice acting and the music was so intense that I love it and getting goosebumps. to me this is what FMA is all about resilience, struggle, strength, and never backing down with a spice of angst. that is why i love this series.

To me, FMA is about the helpless of man, and how we can make things better if we try, never giving up.
God!!
You need not forgive me.
For those I love,
The violence brought about by sinful men
Shall now be used once more.
If you were created to save this world,
If there is a single shred of hope left for the future of mankind,
I am very sorry, but, please begone!

The word you were looking for was: helplessness.

Sentence: As I gazed at the screen with complete helplessness, another person misspelled a word and doomed themselves to reprimand.

Yes, it is a typo

Sentence: As the helpless ShadowZeroHeart was caught off-guard by Rectifier, he suffered a major blow.

Lol, I was making a sentence like people do in a spelling bee to explain words in the right context.
