Can anyone correctly translate what this sentence means?
If I am not wrong, this sentence basically compares SAO and Accel World and says that SAO is some over-advertised (or over-hyped) product (and SAO is not a worthy rival to Accel World) and also declaring the fan base (I think it means the SAO fan base) as "Kinoko gangster-like" (in this case some TYPE-MOON fans who view Nasu Kinoko's works highly).

I am sorry if I sound very angry but I think it was a very serious offense against SAO fans. Yeah, some fans did overhyped SAO a bit but it does not mean there are no such people in other works' fan base as well. There are many more fans that hold respect to other works. In SAO and Accel World case, I have also seen many SAO fans liking Accel World at the same time.

You know, I am really tired of the constant bickerings between SAO and Accel World fan bases. Both are Kawahara-sensei's works and from his Twitter I understand that Kawahara-sensei himself treats both works equally. If you really dislike one's work, just say "I do not like _____ (fill in the blanks)". Do not even try to drag it down by comparing it with the work you like.

Um... yeah? Wouldn't they be fans because they think highly of Nasu's work? Personally, I think it's okay to like more than one series at a time, or even just one, if that's the only one that appeals to you. I don't really understand fandom rivalries.

I think Sword Art Online is the only one. Others are unspecified or 1-cour. I hope Horizon II will be 2-cour, with all the new characters and the page count of Volume 2, it needs it.
