Haven't read this whole thread, but it seems there is a Gosick anime coming out? I was just going to catch it on Crunchyroll.

Most non-blu-ray series are only 5-12gb though...

uhm, 160GB IDE?? obivously on the phased-out end i know.. :(
also a bit on the losing end 'bout that.. i have a curious predilection to 200MB~ avi ONLY, allows me to burn them data-format to DVDs, say a 24-ep title + theme albums per disc max..

i'd have preferred a 500GB IDE (i.e. max capacity) but they're turning to be pretty rare nowadays..

edit: i also have a fledgling collection of eroge and your typical western PC games on hand, not to mention manga and quite a number of albums for my iPod..

^ sadly life used to be about collecting manga. Due to time constraint I can only read them online and not having anything in my new computer.

^ Who cares bout double post?

Just saw Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Holy Shaft really does its cookie-cutter thing with its collage artwork. I mean if anyone remember the 1st episode of Bakemonogatari where they did a "brain" spill, imagine that 10x extreme. Though the character design of hidamari sketch bugs the hell out of me.

The last 4 minutes of Madoka was awesome. It was like watching Nanoha with Kajiura Yuki music. Oh wait...

Anyway!

Gundam 00 Movie:

I'm going to give it a 6/10. Barely anything is explained, the new Gundams had less scenes that the fodders (hell, Raphael Gundam barely lasted longer than 00) and it felt more like the producers wanted an excuse to kill off a bunch of people they couldn't in the 2nd season.

It also felt like watching Gundam Seed with more lasers, pink explosions and giant space flowers

Infinite Stratos

some viewers apparently had fun bashing the 1st ep due to a lack of originality, and its not like it isn't true.. i had laughs watching the intro scene, seeing human-sized ripoffs of 00 Raiser, Justice, Dynames/Cherudim, Strike Freedom, Virtue/Seravee, and Kyrios/Arios - or maybe its just me and color schemes..
anyway, since its LN-based i'll give it 6-7 /10 for hope, though i really wish they'd stop overusing the harem genre.. :?

now i'll be off to DL and watch yumekui merry.. 8)
