I probably have Angel Beats are about 5th for the year behind Madoka, Horizon, Fate/Zero, and Steins;Gate

They kind of confused me with that as well. I kept on thinking outside of the "licensed anime box."

Agree with Angel Beats. Can't say for Usagi Drops (I mean, haven't watched it).
Summer Wars is fine to me, though Haruhi is pretty good to.
If there was a surprise of the year, I'd say IS. How in earth did it top Oricon charts is a question.
Character of the year :Bring me Yuu or nothing.
Duo of the year is fine with the GOSICK one.
Biggest Itsuki of the year: I'd slam this on Ichika. But well..
Scene of the year: Horizon. Oh man, the ending was pretty good.
Death Scene: Does Ayumu in Kore wa Zombie count?
OP/ED of the year: Agree with Angel Beats, but I personally like C^3's better.
Best Extra: Don't know.
Guilty pleasure: Didn't have any, actually, or nothing that could be considered as something like that. And i don't consider R-K-B in this category.

Actually, I did mention this a while back, but I do not remember where.

I think it was the Spring anime thread.

The newest Last Exile episode was a review episode. *sigh* I think that is lazy animation at its best. However, at the very least, they threw in a bone to the fans at the end. I do not think that it was enough of one, given the nature of the review episode. Also, I still cannot figure out why they changed the seiyuu for Al's voice.

yep, not mistaken, saw that same list posted on sancom.. i'd DISAGREE with madoka, and how i'm not seeing any familiar harem and/or love-comedy titles, but the rest are pretty much accurate..

I think that many of the series listed are too recent for anyone to accurately tell what kind of impact that have had on the anime industry. Also, some of the series listed are too similar to other series listed like Azumanga Daioh! and Lucky Star to say for certain that one is not riding the coattails of the other.
