I figure I'll download everything and watch what I like, as ususal.

Am looking forward to Umineko and CANAAN, though.

(Though it does make me want to play settlers of Catan)

That is the problem with having so many anime series coming out every season: time. I generally find about half of them to be throwaways, but I still seem to miss out on some of the good ones. I would like to watch some of the older series out there from the 70s to 90s, but I just never have the time anymore.

Bakemonogatari was one of those anime that I can really appreciate, although the panty-shot at the beginning was kind of irritating...

Played for the fun of it by Nisio Isin. He's evil!

Canaan was okay, I guess...

Nothing really extraordinary about it.

are u kidding? the action scene at the end kick ass!

anyway i can understand the confusion of the story as i didn't get wtf is going on. apparently i heard it heavily relies on the VN 428, where it sprouts from. how much i didn't know until i had to spoil myself.

HOLY CRAP. the story synopsis i spoil myself later is so awesome no wonder Famistu gave it 40/40. is simply that great of a VN. though it feels like a huge set-up for the anime but it explains alot wtf is going. jeez i really want to play 428 now >_<.

Yeah, I really love Natsu. Now just wait for someone to translate 428.

Okay, first off, i would like to make an important comment on NEEDLESS... I read the manga, AND IT IS NOT ABOUT YURI OR LESBIANS!! it has quite an interesting story, though i would say episode one differed from the manga quite a bit here and there... There is very mild porn in the manga used as jokes, UNLIKE THE BLOODY ED!! Just to make a stand for the original work...

P.S. I have up to volume 8 of the chinese translated NEEDLESS manga.

CANAAN drawings reminds me of the Type-Moon animes... So i am looking forward to it, and episode one seems not bad in my opinion.

Soramani, an anime about watching stars, quite a close story with the manga from episode one, peaceful and heartwarming? worth a look if you are fans of ARIA and other peaceful animes.

Juuden-chan, an anime about invisible girls "charging" humans, well, again, some pervertism is in the manga, but it is more highly emphasized in the anime it seems?

GA Design Class, I tried reading the manga but i cant understand a thing, made from a 4 square manga like Kon and Lucky Star, randomness included, watched episode one, at least i can understand it, unlike the manga.

I think that is more or less it for now...
God!!
You need not forgive me.
For those I love,
The violence brought about by sinful men
Shall now be used once more.
If you were created to save this world,
If there is a single shred of hope left for the future of mankind,
I am very sorry, but, please begone!

Just came back from utah from hiking too many canyons and the need to catch up my anime.

anyway after a day here are my impressions:

Keeps:

Canaan- wow just wow with the 2nd episode, the humor and the action blends nicely but a bit awkward for me.

Tokyo Magnitude 8.0- another one of those simple character designs and extreme structure designs that is jaw-dropping. i love the family interaction for its realism approach. wicked cliff-hanger

Princess lover- not a wimpy p-ussy MC and he knows how to swordplay. the animation quality is top-notch and i love the characters (though a bit stereotypical) i really wish they don't take the harem-comedy route from my great impression of episode 1. god i love Sylvia

Bakemonogatari- my freaking crab god (you'll get it later) SHAFT is up to their game, top-notch over ZSZ and Ef series. so awesome i had to change my avatars and banner to this series. is series of short stories about monsters. i love the cold tsudere and her banters with the MC are so great.

the others i drop. umi just became another yuri saliormoon on the island, umineko dropped for the sake of playing the vn first than watch, kananemo hasn't air and needless is flaky the only reason i may stay to watch is for my interest of who are those trio lesbians.

from the springs season i am watchign saki for the majong, basquash for the robotic b-balling and cross-game for baseball. this is funny since it been three years since i finish the over-150 episodes of prince of tennis and i am never into those sports but this season peaks it for me

I'm also watching Saki, mainly because I finally got into mahjong properly, thought it'll be more fun to learn mahjong while watching anime, but didn't realise Japanese mahjong is different from Hong Kong version.

plus it making me want one of those automatic mahjong tables! arrrgghhhh

cost about as much as US$680/HK$6,000 just ot import from China to the UK......

wish there was a cheaper way.....

Oh, had a look at princess lover, love it!

long time since i seen a good harem/maid/poor-kid-parents-die-inherits-rich life-style-from-distant-grandfather genre anime since hanukyou maids..

Everywhere I look on the internet, I cannot find a good explanation of how to play Mahjong, especially the Japanese style of it. Not only that, I cannot find any place where you can play it like they do in Saki. Could someone please explain how to play and/or give a like to where I can play it online please? Thanks!
