I just checked. Gonzo is still alive and kicking, but they did not release anything this season. They are going to have a
3-D anime project in spring, or so it appears.

I do not think that they are alone on this. Whenever 3-D becomes an option, people tend to do it. I know that they are doing the same thing with photographs now.
