Oh, yeah, I finished it. The base episodes aren't really too much of a mind-poke, it's the additions (movies) to it that make it slightly what?

If you understand the philosophy behind Eva, you will be much better off. Eva is one of the ultimate expressions of Post-Modernism. If you can view everything in the latter parts of the series as "what I experience is the only truth," you will be able to survive it much more easily. Also, it does not help that the series is a terrible amalgamation of Post-Modernism, Christianity, and Kabbalah.

Eh, I don't generally care to apply symbolism to my shows, I just watch them for being shows. :lol:

It would be interesting to argue what everything represented though. (You can view mostly everything in multiple ways.)
