Just curious about the current demographics of the J->E translators. You can qualify as long as you have translated at least one chapter from Japanese to English on Baka-Tsuki.
You may choose to elaborate other details in a post. For example, if you are of mixed blood, you can elaborate on your ancestry. If you are of Chinese ethnicity, you can state where you currently reside.
Me: Chinese ethnicity in Singapore (usually staying in Bukit Timah area if I'm not out of town)
All J->E Translators, which group do you belong to?

You know my location already from my profile. As for ethnicity, on the one side I'm about as English as English gets. On the other side? Mostly English, but with perhaps a trace of hispanic. That family arrived in California with the Gold Rush, but became farmers, and 150 years is plenty to mix a bit with what were the locals.

100% Swiss breed with no Asian relations at all. That being said, that's actually an interesting question — been wondering about our ethnic profile as well.

I'm Dutch, and I have no Asian blood in me at all.
I am 50% Surinamese though, but that has nothing to do with my love for Japan.

I'm 1/4 White Uyghur Chinese, 1/4 quarter Haka Chinese and 2/4 Yue Han Chinese.
So, according this article:

I'm a hybrid. I assume this means i'm cyborg upgradable hence future proof.
