Tried to write a light novel yourself? How did it go? Did you use first person or third person? What was it about?

Currently, right now I am trying to write a light novel, so I was just wondering if there were others out there who are doing the same thing?

Nope. But I have a friend who did. She attempted to write a novel which is about magicians etc., like Zero no Tsukaima. But it didn't went well due to her low English proficiency.
As for your last question, I'd say that there any many others out there who are doing the same thing as you. if you want to give others the chance to read it, you can try to get your novel hosted on a blog, or on BT like "The Longing Of Shiina Ryo".

IMO, depends on the story you want to write. What exactly is your novel about? Romance? Drama?

It's about a boy who doesn't believe in God or anything he can't see and an angel who dislikes humanity and is banished from heaven and sent to Earth by God to live among humanity.

It's romance with some drama and fantasy.
