What's that? I don't even watch TV. Haven't been watching for nearly a decade. I only watch anime, himado, nico nico and youtube.

If you can understand chinese, some of the 小品 are pretty funny. Well, it's probably more interesting to watch in a group with family/friends, might be kinda boring/lonely watching alone, lol.

Should be broadcast on any chinese network in NA at ~8pm on sunday your local time, and you can probably find lots of videos of it online.

It is already the Hour of Zi (子時) in China so technically this is already the Year of 壬辰. Happy lunar new year. :)

So I'm watching it with my family right now and just saw a really funny one

It's not that funny at the start, but gets really funny towards the end.

By the way, you can find the whole thing (233 minutes apparently) here: http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XMzQ1MzI0NTcy.html

A better alternative for anime fans is the one on BiliBili. :)

Oh sh... wrong link. Yeah it is the Chinese nico rip-off (they rip-off basically everything on earth  ). Doesn't make it less amusing though.

IMO the 2012 one is much better than the 2011 one. I really like the Touhou MAD, the Chinese Miku song and the short that use random voices as synchronizers of classic pieces.

Another 小品
Spoiler! :
。。。。再说十遍!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Re: bilibili 2012
damn, it's really well done! I can tell a whole ton of effort was put into it, and (most of) their voices aren't half bad.

My favorite was the toradora+haruhi+oreimo mashup.

The touhou one seemed to me like an opening to a vn.

Are the Miku songs made to sound chinese with Japanese vocals or is there a chinese version of Miku? I can't tell, but there seems to be a strong canto accent to me.

I can still kinda understand snake, but lawl?
Spoiler! :
ronald mcdonald??
Didn't really like the classical madness but here are the songs based on what I could make out:
revolutionary etude
appationata 3rd movement
turkish march
hungarian dance No. 5
Damn, forgot this one
Don't think I've heard this one
pathetique 3rd movement
argh I know I've heard this one but can't remember it's name
flight of the bumblebee

There's some parts where you have to understand chinese to understand it, but for the most part you can enjoy it without knowing chinese or japanese, so I definitely recommend it. Watching the 2011 version now

Edit: Oh, what's this? There's actually 4 videos for it... if you check on the top. I guess it'll be some time before I watch the 2011 version.
Edit2: くっそおおおおおー I want a loli as a new year's present too!

AFAIK the Chinese version of Miku hasn't been released.

Lol I didn't notice there are 4 videos too. The doujin loli anime and the Gintama dubbing are truly epic :P. Someone should really sub the doujin anime and put it on youtube. As for Gintama, I thought they directly used Kugyuu's voice until she suddenly starts to speak Mandarin. And yep Cantonese rules.

Btw here is the lunar new year show in AcFun and is also pretty good (though I prefer the one in BiliBili). Wonder if there is any other similar show by Chinese-speaking otakus outside China, say Taiwan/HK?
