Negative gratitude is more like it. Here's a list of scoldings:

1. For being late.
2. For being early.
3. For doing something wrong.
4. For doing something right.
5. For taking initiative.
6. For sleeping in bunk
7. For arriving at wrong destination.
8. For driving slowly.
9. For losing files.
10. For losing the indent orders.
11. For not memorizing the Routine Orders.
12. For playing sick.
13. For really getting sick.
14. For needing to go for medical appointment which is like 3 hours distance away.
15. For arriving late for medical appointment because the unit released you late, and you get punished, not the unit.
16. For losing rifle/rifle parts (you probably deserve it though)
17. For going for early lunch.
18. For not doing anything when there's nothing to do.
19. For doing something important only for someone to say that there's something more important.
20. For accidentally lighting a fire while disposing rubbish.
21. For not cleaning rifles, vehicles and other stuff.
22. For AWOL (again...)
23. For sabotaging your platoon because of one little slip-up.
24. For getting the wrong brand of coffee.
25. For doing all the work.

And the list goes on (wonder how did I manage to keep myself motivated)...

Tsk, mine's at KTPH. 25 is the biggest reason why I get scolded, and now I just got scolded because of something I didn't even do since I was overseas last week, and very nearly flipped at my superior. Well, time to take it out on the text. Chp 10 of SAO should be out on Sunday (will leave it as google doc).

22, yeah, they'll scold you once you get into detention barracks. And for 16, you'll get scolded, once you get charged.
