mmmmm Paella indeed Yoa-chan!

Unfortunately, it's pretty expensive getting Saffron in Hong Kong, so when ever i can i get my relatives to bring some over! :p

The paella they do here is appalling, they places you can get anything remotely satisfying is at one or two restaurants and one them is Portuguese!

So understandably, it's one of my aces in my pack for homemade dinner date success!

Btw, Oni, any recommendations on tourist destinations in HK? Including your house, of course.

Disneyland?

Just eat to your heart's content while your metabolism is still fast. The food in Hong Kong is EX, Z, SSS, Turn A, Mushishi-ranked.

And do a lot of math, that's how one stays svelte.

If you have no interest in the boring and highly polluted concrete jungle, maybe it is a good idea to visit the wetlands in the North West area of HK. Skip the Wetland Park however as it is a waste of money.

I am not sure of your schedule but I guess you will be visiting HK during the winter anyway. There are lots of migrating birds staying in HK at that time and it is easy to spot rare species.

Another good choice is the Tai O fishing village:

Well, depends on what you like! If you want to enjoy scenery, then go hiking! either to the east of the new territories in Sai Kung or south of HK Island, however if you are visiting during summer, then obviously that's only if you are a masochists!

If you want a place for good food and night time drinking, then you cannot go wrong by visiting LKF or Soho in Central.

However it's expensive, so if you want it a little less intense and a little less all out drinking/party/clubbing night then stick to T.S.T, around Knutsford Terrence is an alternative eating/drinking place.

On the other hand, if you just want to have a drink in a Public Bar atmosphere and the urge for that little bit of violence and sexual showtime services then head to Wanchai.

During the day, its a great place for food and the chic hotspot for office workers and the visiting business person, but at night its "Lonely Sailor" 162yrs of Reputation since the first horny thirsty scuvvie seadog set foot on the island comes into full effect and guarantee to make your money work for you in more ways then one....

Besides that, there are plenty of places to look at and admire, if you have friends, then the best activities you can do bedsides the sea going stuff you can find in the new territories, is wargaming!

Arrange an outdoor at Hong kongs largest outdoor wargaming site, which is just right in this weather:

To give you a feel of the place here is what it's like, filmed last spring...

W28 video filmed by my friend, also i get shot and fall down a ditch...
