Designated Alternative B-T Staff Supervisors

Hello readers and comrade contributors,

As you may be aware, Baka-Tsuki was initially a English language community, hence the recruitment of predominately English speaking staff.

However, the growth of Baka-Tsuki to include other alternative language communities has now reached the point where it is in our best interest to assigned a supervisor in a specific alternative language due to the number of native speaking members and projects hosted on the Wiki.

While initially this was informally assigned to a fellow Administrator who is a fluent French speaker, Darkoneko, he was also, by default, the main focus for other alternative language members in my absent or/and require further assistance due to my poor alternative language skills *hangs head in shame*

However as many of you may or may not know, Darkoneko, has not been frequent on Baka-Tsuki, in either the forum or wiki (I'm unsure about IRC)

So it is in yours and my best interest to designate an alternative Supervisor from the Baka-Tsuki Translation & Editorial Staff for you to query, who will be fluent in your language of choice.

If you have any pressing concerns, please raise them with the following Supervisors below before you contact me.

Those languages who have not been assigned a Supervisor, I would like to ask if any B-T staff who is fluent or is confident they have a level that is acceptable, please contact me.

Thank you.

update: Darklor has happily volunteered to be the German Supervisor, he's from Germany so please feel free to hassle him in German. :)

Please be kind! :p

I apologise if your specific language Supervisor was not on the list above, but
More will be added when required.

The job requirements are simple.

Besides the obvious language skills,

The main criteria is to be frequently active on the wiki and forum and be able to respond to queries via email & private mail, as I will be forwarding and referring future contacts to the appropriate alternative language Supervisor and occasional require consultation on specific alternative language issues.

Supervisor will also be automatically be the default Supervisor for their alternative language projects if none has been assigned (which is usually none)

If anything needs Administrator access in relation to these projects, they will be given access when required.

You will also be asked to promote Baka-Tsuki's Wiki & Forum standards (when possible) and as a representative to the respective alternative language community on Baka-Tsuki.

I understand that assigned Supervisor won't be available forever, so all I ask is a term of at leased 4 months as Supervisor, where you will be asked again or a new Supervisor is assigned or perhaps elected (will decided later about that)

was thinking of applying for a position in the Filipino translation project.. (not necessarily supervisor)

but on second thought, it doesn't get much traffic anyway..

Can I register as Indonesian language supervisor? Because there is a lot I want to improve here, and every Indonesian member who has the authority to do it pretty much MIA from the forum at the moment.
