I see threads here about volume 11 and such, but some chapters in volume 2 and up have the 'preview' header.
What's up with that?

Don't look to much into it. Read preview as a real translation. Its more of a warning that MT was involved in translation process but it still doenst mean that the translation is bad.
If it was bad the real translations would have replaced them sooner or later...
So yeah, don't look that it has 'preview' written on it and read it as a real translation because if you let that stop you waiting for 'real' translation you will never get past volume 2.
