Re: Appreciation for the Translation of Zero no Tsukaima Thread
Hi everyone! I want to express my deepest gratitude to the brave soldiers ... er i mean translators that bring my favorite Light novel to a understandable language. I loved the anime, hated the manga, and i never thought the Light Novel would be SO AMAZING!
I know myself, as i've translated a couple of chapters from english to spanish, that getting a chapter done involves a lot of effort. So, Congratulations! Good job! (pats on the back)
P.D. I am sorry for Suzumiya whatever fans, but i am actually happy we got the cease and desist letter, now a lot of projects, like this one are coming back to life again. (I nearly starved to death! Almost 6 months without a new chapter! that was cruel! )

The cancellation of Suzumiya Haruhi has nothing to do with this. I started translating ZnT before the C&D letter and besides I never was Haruhi translator to begin with.

I do believe that haruhi was translated quite some time ago so no translators were working on it.
But it doesn't really matter:
Darknemo2000 - You're the man!

I second that. Translating ZnT deserves an award...Puiu wrote:Darknemo2000 - You're the man!
Can I say something about destiny? Screw destiny! If this evil thing comes we'll fight it, and we'll keep fighting it until we whoop it. 'Cause destiny is just another word for inevitable and nothing's inevitable as long as you stand up, look it in the eye, and say 'You're evitable!'

I might getting repetitive... but thank you tranlator-dono for taking the great effort of bringing us, devoted readers our much needed ZnT ration. I hope you enjoy translating the series as much as i enjoy reading them.

Don't worry about being repetitive, this is the thread for it and they are doing an amazing job so:

Re: Appreciation for the Translation of Zero no Tsukaima Thread
that would be me... i tend to go for the side stories as I'm not sure about how much time i can commit to translating... so, i selected the side story so that it won't hold up any other effort going on...
anyway, it was smooth sailing at the start, but now i've been bogged down with work and so have put a little pause on it for now... will get back to translating as soon as my current RL workload eases off...

Hey guys! I'm a new member here. Currently reading ZnT and to be honest I've been looking for this for the longest time Thanks to all the translators of this novel. I REALLY Appreciate what you guys have done. I just have a few questions:
1. Is the translation of the other chapters still on going?
2. Is the light novel in Japanese still on going?
Thanks and more power to everyone!

1. It's still going on. Darknemo and I are still around. I'm just taking a little break right now due to work overload. Will probably be back on it in mid-April after I get my research finished for a conference.
2. Last I heard it's still continuing. Vol.18 just came out late January.

keep up the spirit!!!
Even if you fight alone
(this is for altux too, a sole translator english-Indonesian)
altux newly knows how the novel is different from the anime
and it's better, vos the anime has many cuttings and addings
Why not stick to the original
anyway, let us keep going!!!
