Alright, I've completed Chapter 9 of V 18 but the next translation may start a little late as I'll be busy next week.

acording to this http://zeronotsukaima.wikia.com/wiki/NewsMisc the LN ends in volume 22 and the autor was half way to the 21. So we can probably see the ending soon.

I realized after volunteering myself to edit that I totally forgot the story and I wanted to refresh myself on everything before reading the newly-translated chapters. So, I've been frantically rereading and I've finally caught back up again, so I'm available to edit now. Just thought I'd let you know

@ shadowys - count me in for editing too. i think it's time to edit the baka tsuki page which says the following in update section -
"the series remains incomplete at 20 volumes and it is unlikely that there will be any further material published after this."

Nice. I will continue translation next week I think, once school starts and I need something to relax Besides, the first version of the api is out so I should not have any more late night hackathons anymore. Haha

I just found out. Wow, this is actually a little dream come true to us long-time fans. I mean...a fleshed out ending, cool, but to end a legacy that a person has worked on until his death...that's extremely gratifying.

I hope we do somehow get a spin-off in the future. I'd love to see Saito's life after he returned to Earth and all the little technicalities that occur during inter-universal/inter-planetary travel.

i think a new thread should be started for discussing about translation and editing. for the moment i'm starting in this.
