This is now the feedback thread for the Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita project.

As the last translation of this light novel was done by tlwiki back in "7 June 2010" and didn't get past chapter one, I thought it would be good to open up a poll for this series as there will be a lot more interest since it was adapted as an anime.

• ✔) have a discussion thread opened in the "Future Projects" forum, with the name of the novel (series) in the title.
  ✔) Open a poll
  3) Verify unlicensed status for any official English publisher and if possible have a Baka-Tsuki Staff Member also verify it.
  4) Have a raw
  5) MUST have a willing Translator who must register on this forum, and verify in a written post somewhere once.
  6) Contact Wiki Supervisor by Email and P.M (optional) with a link to this forum post after previous conditions met.
  7) POST the name of the Supervisor who approved you, to ensure all Baka-Tsuki Staff Members are aware of it.

If somebody who understands Japanese can help verify that the unlicensed status remains, that would be wonderful.

I figure that if there is enough interest in the poll it will be easier to meet goals 3-7 such as attracting a translator, so please vote and if you have raws , resources, or know anybody or anyway that might also help, please do and also leave a message.

I did a semi-thorough check as I didn't want to meaninglessly waste anybodies time, and I'm pretty sure only the anime has a license, but before I add a check mark to the list, I'd prefer somebody who is familiar with how to check for licensing to verify such in case anything changed.

The first chapter of volume one was translated a long time ago by Loss in TLWiki, but it looks like he don't intent to continue.

its have interesting story and unique character...

The translated chapter on the tlwiki site is interesting, especially in context of having watched the anime series. This would be a fun project to do and would definitely be a standout. Lots of social commentary, parody, and farce.

Bumping this for bigger publicity. Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita is a highly enjoyable piece that can be taken either analytically in its deeper dialogues and narratives, or superficially in its laudable irreverence and highly facetious nature. In both perspectives, Jinrui stays at the top of its game, and it's a shame how few people know about this series. Romeo Tanaka is a brilliant writer, and I have high hopes for him so long as he continues his path along light novels and away from underappreciated bishoujos.

Its a real shame this didn't get as much interest as the bigger title , the anime was amazing so I can't think of how awesome the novel could be .It would need a very good translator to transmit the jokes properly though.

It seems that Mahou-X is starting to translate it recently. It's pretty slow, though

Also, after comparing the TLWiki translations with Mahou-X translations, the TLWiki one is far better.

Well let's just hope that a translator takes interest in this project, which seems long overdue by now.

Read volume 2 and 4. Not at all surprised that the anime begins from v4.

I'll have to irresponsibly finish/quit/ditch my other projects before I can start this, though.

I've already started this project. I do have a full time job so translation is going to be slow.
