I've read the manga version of Shurabara! and was immediately drawn in.
If this was ever to be translated, I would love to help edit it!

The post above you says Riko has translated Vol 1 Ch 1 Part 1, and is translating the rest of the chapter too, so get to editing then. :P

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask editing questions but still...
Is the first line of the chapter supposed to not include any pronouns? Thanks :)

Yup.

Occasionally Kazu will speak in a third-person perspective.

Also I'm on vacation so give me a few days. At least not before I end this school community Tekkit game.

Nope, unless we organize special training institute where we will take in young kids and train them into serial translators! We'll erase their emotions and make them into translating machines!

I really loved the manga and I hope one day I can read the novel.

Thank you for what you have already done, MineRiko.

Riko died, actually.

This'll be a teaser; maybe a chapter or two... Which might take quite long. Good night.

@whoever working on this project

So I heard this project is being translated from Chinese raws. I happen to be good with both Chinese and English, and liked this series well enough to volunteer myself for its English translation. I had experience translating novel from Chinese to English with Princerevolution, working on Legend of Sun Knight Volume 8 chapter 1. They said I did a great job so... I also have some basic knowledge with Japanese. At least I can read kana and use dictionary to translate kanji to romaji.

It seems like this series's manager/translator is KanzakiAria, but it's not been updated since last year October, more than 13 months ago. I recently visited his user talk page, but he stated on there that he won't be able to reply. He didn't exactly leave any contact information, ether. There isn't anybody else working on this project. Is it okay if I just go ahead and start on it?

I mean, Chinese fan-translation is available from volume 1 to 10, which covers the entire main plot line of the story. I won't have a problem with the raw material to work on. The only thing I really need is original illustrations from the Japanese published light novel. The chinese ones on http://lknovel.lightnovel.cn/ are avaialble, but have "ozzie" watermarked on them... I mean, I could use them, but I didn't see anyone else here on baka-tsuki using watermarked illustrations.

In conclusion, I think I am gonna start on this project by myself, since there is no way to contact the only translator. Also, I would appreciate any source of original illustrations from the novel in scanned copies. Thanks.

Editing always appreciated of course.
