A great Manhwa. A young Emperor is cast out of his Empire by his uncle, who seizes the throne for himself. The young Emperor sets out to become the strongest among the living, and take back what is rightfully his... Its a really great story and I without a doubt think if you are going to pick a manhwa novel this is a must pick of others like Id novel and Dark Mage novel.

I have been reading the manhwa-manga version of it and I have been captured by its great plot and potential future that I don't understand why its discontinued at volume 8. But the light novel does not differ much and has over 20 volumes so I lean and hope that its picked up by hopefully Baka-tsuki or some other genius.

And this is my beg and please pick up this novel "story" :D

Best Regards, Gummi.

Hmm... Just for information:
- Even if you beg, we aren't forced to translate it.
- Besides, I don't know if we have enough translators to work on it.

I think that you should contact Japtem, perhaps Imoutolicious (although the former is more suited for this series).

Please do read viewtopic.php?f=4&t=936
BT expects for you to provide your own translator, if not, u can wait till someone offers to help in this Korea novel.

You do know practically every work on BT is from a Japanese origin, right?

The begging part was sarcasm since begging is really popular these days and can be found 70% of the time when someone requests a series. And yes I do know all of Baka-tsuki is of Japanese origin. What I meant was if Baka-tsuki would possibly expand to other foreign novels in the future like pick up a Korean novel then this one is a popular one and requests will come for this one will be mentioned in the future, like many others I posted it just to keep it on peoples mind. Since great series have the habit of getting forgotten somehow. Like Ryuurouden.

P.S I know the image was a bit overboard I will watch out more in the future.

Sooooo.... I can dream can't I? :)

I think KuroiHikari just wants to make it clear that Baka-Tsuki is simply a platform where people can freely post translations.
So asking Baka-Tsuki itself to expand is immaterial, it expands automatically if someone chooses to translate something and post it here.

Which brings us to the next issue... Finding Korean translators. Since most works posted on Baka-Tsuki are Japanese in origin, B-T probably isn't the best place to look for Korean translators. Contacting existing groups involved in Korean novel translation or manhwa scanlation would probably be a better bet.

I think Moonlight Sculptor is korean on BT, http://baka-tsuki.org/project/index.php ... t_Sculptor, why don't you try and contact the translators for it and see if they will pick it up.

It's a hosted project. Two websites are leading the TL of the series.

Its not that we havent had here any Korrean translators, but I would assume those are so rare here, especially since most translations here are translated from Japanese or Chinese, that the chance to find here a Korrean translator, who is even interested in translating your proposed novel is so slim that I wouldnt place any bets on it...

You wouldn't mind telling us their names? (If it isn't against any rule of BT)

Maybe it should have been a "to"?

Hm, and I would doubt that he meant that "The Sword of the Emperor" is hosted...

But maybe I am wrong and he meant the Manhwa translator groups translating the Manhwa...

Odd Squad Scans dropped it, and if I'm not wrong, Royal Road and Japtem are working on the series. MS' translations are quite scattered, actually.

Just posting here to let you know.

Japtem will not be picking up The Sword of the Emperor.
  • Haikai: The only reason we will do it is this
Haikai: we have more KTLers who want to do that LN
Haikai: and they have to be pretty good KTLers at that
If I remember right, the majority of Japtem translators, didn't know korean, so they learned to translate through google translate and korean/english dictionaries.

Apparently one of the problems is that this is supposedly in old Korean.
