Well, wouldn't he be focusing on Kaze no Stigma instead?larethian wrote:Firstly, are you from CE translations? Regardless of whether you are or not, stop poaching! XD
SZH is into anything that's worth getting into, by his standards. You should look at other threads as well. Though SZH is retired from translating. Since I'm sure he will translate Denyuuden with me if not XD.

yeah, maybe. I'll psycho him some how.
@Wing oh I just recalled the post where you talk about CEtrans.
Btw, before the founder, zgmfx09a, also from Singapore (doing his degree right now IIRC), even founded CEtrans, I actually asked him to join baka-tsuki. I think he has a group of friends and they wanted a separate identity, so I'm not too sure whether they will be willing to collaborate, assuming we have a free translator, but the fact is we don't. Though they did let us host the DVD insert translation for Oreimo, kudos to them.

Just like the founder zgmfx09a(citation from lare), I am doing my university last year(hopefully, if i don't fail anything). So after that, once my life is more stable, I will get back to KnS. KnS has been, and will be my main focus.
And sorry lare, you can try psycho-ing me, but even if I don't work on KnS, i would work on Mushi-Uta or Kami-memo. I put these 2 series around the same level of Bungaku Shoujo. Its my own personal ranking, but I think they are worth the attention. That is, provided that it is not already being worked upon. But since CEtrans is working on it, nahz, I will leave Mushi-Uta to them.
P.S. you might want to separate the Mushi-Uta pics into Side stories and main story.

Btw do u know any other light novels that's sad/inspiring like Mushi uta?
Gotta read something to feel less bored, hopefully same genre.

I am not sure if it fits what you are looking for, Bungaku Shoujo is emotional, like Mushi-Uta. Kamimemo is thought invoking while emotional, but is much darker, though it is not as sad as some parts of Mushi Uta. Magica Rental is quite inspiring, especially at the later parts of the story, with a lot of emotional thoughts mixed within.Wing wrote:K, thanks for the advice. =)

On a sidenote, there are stories I have never tried, but might fit in the genre. Ballad of a Shinigami(Song of the God of Death), and Shigofumi(Message after death). Both of which were adapted into anime which I watched, but I have never read the novels.

Don't worry. I was just kidding. To Wing too. Btw, zgmf009a is also our compatriot in Kagami Takaya's works. He offered to help me with them if he has time though he's too busy with Onii-Ai now. He used to have a blog somewhere...

Nah, projects are only considered poached when the encroaching group is translating it into broken English.Wing wrote:i did not intended to poach or steal any1's work =(.
Oh waitFirst of all i want to say that I kind of do not have anyone to edit my poor English , since the guy who helped me with the prologue seemed kind of busy and kind of looking for someone willing to edit for me. Someone who has better English than me preferably and is willing to dedicate some time to help me out. You can read this chapter finish and then let me know if you want to help me out.

Poaching or stealing implies to take someone's work and claim to be his own, or with very minor edits that is clearly seen. It is not about broken English or not.Nullstellensatz wrote:Nah, projects are only considered poached when the encroaching group is translating it into broken English.Wing wrote:i did not intended to poach or steal any1's work =(.

Basically,
Mushi Uta volume 0, covering the story of Daisuke when he went on his first mission.
Mushi Uta 1st =>8th, these are the side stories covering the past where Daisuke met a girl who isn't a Host, but has a Mushi by her.
Mushi Uta 1~???, currently ongoing(?) about the main story where Shiika wakes up and the Hosts all battle the so-called destinies that were placed upon them.

Is it the same Daisuke in both the side stories and main story?

Re: Mushi-uta Light novel/ Mushi-Uta Bug short story
Yes it is. In the side stories, it is about one of his earlier missions before the main story. Amongst which gave him much strength to carry on, even when the going gets really tough. It is one of the reasons for his great determinations to try to exterminate the three main Bugs.Kokoru Asami wrote:Is it the same Daisuke in both the side stories and main story?
Similarly, the side stories cover some of the other characters that appear in the main story, which includes Riina and another Host, whom are believed to be the 3 strongest Hosts(With Daisuke). While that host's actions is unclear in the main story, his story was covered in more details in the side stories, and explaining his goals.
The stories are all interlinked, despite it being possible that you read one or the other only.
