Re: Project wide translator search
Project wide?
Are you referring to the rare yet legendary breed of universal translators whose talents allow them to be deployed onto any project to swiftly bring it up to date?
The type of translator that readers yearn for, demand, or even expect to be waiting at their beck and call?
Joking aside, it's far easier for editors to be working on multiple projects than translators. After all, a translator's efforts are usually better spent on bringing a project up to date before moving on or taking on additional ones.

I wouldn't be surprised if all you got were alternative language translators.

Hm, I thought we had once a similar thread for translators as we have for editors - for those rare translators, who are still unsure what to translate...
Please don't mind my bad english since I'm german.

If we can get one of those superior beings just by searching here, all project would've been up to date by nowDarklor wrote:Hm, I thought we had once a similar thread for translators as we have for editors - for those rare translators, who are still unsure what to translate...

So, one of those dummy's you were mentioning just so happened to be wandering through your thread, weird right? So, just out of curiosity, where are translators needed the most? Stalled projects or busy projects where everyone works together? Darklor, advice?

Uhm, I am a little out of touch, since I hadnt much time the last months because of an internship. I would say the question is what would you like to translate, what does interest you?

As a bit of what Kira said and a bit of Darklor said... Translators are needed everywhere, but not all translators are going to translate everything(Not everyone is like Ping)...Kira0802 wrote:Everywhere.obsidian pegasus wrote:So, one of those dummy's you were mentioning just so happened to be wandering through your thread, weird right?
