As expected, we have the reverse situation: a lot of En-Fr translators, but a shortage of editors.

It's hard to guarantee quality without enough editors. The current ones are working on several projects...

You don't really have to inform us here, you should inform the supervisor/active translator of the projects or post on their respective threads instead.

to me, id say doing both would be common courtesy.

Every time you want to start editing on a new project, posting about it here will just be redundant. It's much more useful to post on the project thread instead/pm the respective people of the project.

It's still common courtesy, after all, why does this forum exist?

I am not really sure, why does this topic exist? Only for new editors to inform people that they will start editing?

I think that it is stated as a guideline in the editor guidelines on the wiki. And yes, as I also said earlier, posting on the appropriate project threads or pming the right people is better.

your job will be to watch out for vandals, proof-read scripts, and bring problems or other anonymity to the attention of the community on the forum.

Must have an active history of daily editing on the wiki (Between 4-6 weeks).

Activity on the forum is not essential but helps.

prolific in typing English and/or Japanese/Chinese (Traditional).

Secondary language is an advantage. (for alternative language patrols.)

If you think your up to the job, please leave a comment here (include your wiki-username if you are using one different to the forum)!

(Recommendations by a fellow Baka-Tsuki staff will be given priority.)

Therefore, leaving a comment will get you that position faster?

Actually I don't know. Or perhaps it's to notify non-workers that we need them. (Add Ab Lincoln Navy recruitment pic)

Now where is the topic going...

Um, to get this back on topic... I never really noticed this and as I guess common courtesy goes I should have posted here first as I have edited a few on the wiki. Sadly, *cough* I have edited even more than the times I have when logged on as I forget from time to time to check if I am logged on. Anyways, I am just wanting to know if I could get listed as official wandering editor or one for the specific novels I tend to constantly reread nonstop, or I guess I will just continue as a wandering unofficial editor. Thanks for, well considering me if I even am .
