Might it be because of the missing volumes 1 and 2? Apart from USA I would think, the novels would be pretty hard to find... not to mention requiring a certain amount of effort to get hold of.

It's not something you can just read off Baka-Tsuki out of random interest... since you'd be dumped right into the story.

Just a maybe though. *shrug*

On another note... wow, didn't know ZnT would be ranked second... pretty good

Although I just started reading Toradora! as well, and man, the first volume sure had some laugh out loud moments...

Personally if you ask me, Tora Dora is way better than SnS, despite the lack of "exciting fights". The palmtop tiger rox! Shes even better than Shana! and i wonder who Ryuuji will be with in the end? from the looks of things at the moment, he does not seem to go with our dear palmtop tiger very well for now =X

As for SnS..I wasnt paying attention to it untill I saw an update of Volume 1, which isntantly picked up my attention...

And yes. KnS is hurt from the rather inconsistent updates, not too bad, besides you are working with many project, but the inconsistency doesn't do too much good for it.

Toradora will enjoy running strong as long the anime season airs and as long as translators are consistent.

ZnT popularity dropped, and it is felt as my translated chapters remain unedited for weeks now...

No real surprises anywhere else.
