Are all the translators going to take some vacation?
leaving the editors to break their asses over the trivial stuff.
I think you deserve it, the editors too but they have their plates full for now, with v.7 done.
untill book 9 will be out...which suppose to be this month, february(if my memory serves me right)
So what are you all be doing?

Most of the chapters for volume 7 look pretty good to me, I doubt it would take very long (except for all the T/L's in ch 4)
But that's just me. Maybe the editors are all nitpicking over the translations with tooth and file.

Probably going to laze off for CNY, chip in maybe a few pages of shadow here and there, and start translating seriously again when CNY's over.
It's Valentine's Day and I can't believe I'm stuck sitting in front of the computer alone. Sigh. Now I sound like some single old bloke

You won't get a girlfriend if you sit in front of your computer. Go out and try to meet someone.

(And while I have an excuse to post, hi5 to all the translators, you're my heroes--haven't been actively this into a novel series in many years, if ever.)

I actually tried translating an old chapter i found in japanese. I wish I hadn't attempted. o_O It was hell. Maybe if it was a year ago i'd do a bit better but ya know...I suck. I'm only first year in Japanese and I haven't studied for almost a year now so I'm rusty again. ARGH. It's harder than I thought. v_v. Oh well.
Anyways Props to all the translators. Thanks for your work.

Tokoyopop licensed FMP, but its going to take a hell of a long time for them to reach BOMF (the
19th, yes,
nineteenth novel in the series). We're trying to work things out now, so don't get your hopes up too high

what do you mean 19th volume of Full Metal Panic? The manga ended at volume8. Oh wait they are making a novel now? Is the novel going to go beyond the manga and anime storyline?
