A and B are like [something] and reluctantly fight together. That's kind of like this, is it not?"
Is the [something] supposed to be there?

The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

When places in the same boat during a storm, even enemies will work together to get through it.

The something are probably like the ESPers and Time Travellers.

That was my thought. The two of them are opposed (as Nagato once mentioned), but they've got a larger issue at hand - one that requires them to stop fighting at the least.

Or maybe its a comparison of A and B, i.e. "A and B are like allies, forced to fight together"

Oh and I think "Temporary Allies" or "Conditional Allies" fit the [something] well.

They're fighting for the same cause, even if they're not friends. I don't recall if I overstepped my bounds earlier and changed that to "comrades" or something, but I may have. If so, my apologies.
