Talk:Durarara!!
Question: Who are these translators? Are they translating here or they have their own site?
Please tell.
- Thanks for all the translation work you do! As for the other translator, all I've been able to find is someone who is translating *snippets* of the book: http://anni-fiesta.livejournal.com/
- I'll post if I find more. --184.78.163.115 05:23, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
- The link above has the complete translations of volume 4-5 and ongoing translation of volume 6. You can find the translated first volume in here:http://differentclouds.livejournal.com/
- Really volumes? Or do you mean chapters? Maybe if that wouldnt disturp our translator someone could ask if they would like to add their translation here as well? --Darklor 22:59, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, at anni-fiesta's livejournal volume 4 and volume 5 are completely translated. The first two chapters of volume 6 is also up there and she is still translating the series very fast.Differentclouds livejounal has the complete translation of first volume, but he doesn't intend to continue. You can read the volumes at their jounals, I don't think they are likely to come here. The translators that use livejournal generally tend to like having their own domains. But of course I could be wrong as well.
- It differ I would say I know of two examples: Kagedreams (Hakushaku to Yousei) wasn't interested to share or help, but Alakazzandra (Read or Die)has her translation here as well - so without asking no one would know for sure ;) --Darklor 19:51, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

[edit] Ten thousand thanks!
Durarara!! (as well as Baccano!, let's not neglect that either) is a series with genuine literary merit: it's intelligent, original, and very, very fun. I've been wanting to fill out the world beyond the anime ever since I saw the first episode, and am truly glad you have begun to make that available. I'm circulating this site to my friends; keep up the good work! -D.L.
Someone with real authority should contact the group and petition for dual uploading on both sites. The goal is to gather and complete missing chapters on this site in case of crashes/internet fubar. Comments and opinions appreciated. Btw: I'll gladly do it given approval from the powers that be. But since I am not confident I am representing the collective will of B-T action is pending said approval.
[edit] Durarara in Spanish
Hello I a mchesire Cat and I am interested in translating this light Novel in spanish what do i need to do in order to do it? - ChesireCat
You have to create the alternate language project page (a translation of original project page), the registration page for your project, a thread for your project in the alternative language section in the forum and to get the approval you have to submit at least a translated chapter (and normaly prologues wouldnt be enough) --Darklor 06:44, 28 June 2011 (UCT)
Okay thanks then I would need at least the first chapter eh? Okay , but a question what do you mean by registration page? .ChesireCat 00:57, 30 June 2011 (UCT)
Thats the Registration page for the original project. Something like that you'll need for your project too. Its just a novel / chapter list where every translator who is working on a chapter should put his or her name behind the chapter on which they are working so that the possibility is minimized that two work one the same chapter and ones work is useless... --Darklor 03:02, 30 June 2011 (UCT)
