Under work? What is that supposed to mean... something like covert operations? Probably should be changed, because the dictionary definition for under work does not make sense in this context. --Ruifung (talk) 17:56, 17 February 2015 (CST)

New to wiki editing, fixed up a bit of grammar and spelling but if I did anything wrong feel free to revert. Big thanks to Sashiko too for the translation! --Nicman07 (talk) 06:46, 16 February 2015 (CST)

Minor issue but should the "Laurentz power" mentioned in this chapter be changed to "Lorentz Power" in reference to the physicist? --Nicman07 (talk) 07:14, 16 February 2015 (CST)

Thank you for editing.

1. considering Under. This is a translation for ura-the opposite side, the bottom side, the back side. As the Arc goes on, much is made of the difference in the society that lives and acts on the surface-the part that generally acts within the law and in public and its opposite. I.e. there is a part in the arc where a character that generally lives and acts in the surface part of society proclaiming something like "As long as they don't have proof, they can't do anything about it" while his servant who works and lives in the Ura, thinks something like they don't need proof, it is normal to take actions based on suspicions and conclusions in the Ura and not worry about legal justifications or all that much about legal ramifications.

2 Laurentz or Lorentz, it was in katakana so go with whichever makes the most sense. Sashiko (talk)

Concerning (1), so it would be something like covert operations as defined on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Covert_operation then? Or at least part of it hmm, well personally I think that a different word would have to be used for different scenarios. --Ruifung (talk) 17:56, 17 February 2015 (CST)

Covert operations fits but I agree it doesn't have the right connotations. Maybe something like "underworld-work" or use a euphemism like "less-than-legal activities" depending on the situation. Then when talking about the underside of society use "The dark side of..." --Nicman07 (talk) 20:10, 17 February 2015 (CST)

Hello, I've been reading the wiki for about a year now, but this is the first time I've ever made a comment. First, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for translating the light novel. This is very complex first, especially since Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei is written in a very technical language. I truly appreciate your hard work. By the way, for the "under work," perhaps you mean "underground operations?" It might sound smoother and appropriate. --Ray

What are "demurrations"? My search of that word gave me no results on its meaning, just 43 results (with this page, 44), some of which are not even the word, but closely spelled ones, and the use of the term is inconsistent.--Kemm (talk)
