What's this phrase supposed to mean in context of the chapter?

In the context I took it from, "get unmanned" was obviously a testicles joke, jokingly implying that they should be removed so girls would stop flocking to him. Like being neutered. As if his balls had anything to do with the girls flocking to him; he's unmanly enough as it is. --EnigmaticRepose
