As it currently is, having the vow seperate from action of vowing makes the sentence awkward. As for the difference in quote styles, I'm unsure if this is an internal vow, or said out loud. Since we don't have quotes on it in current form, I'm assuming it's an internal vow, and since there isn't a set style to convey internal quotes for this series yet...

I support this change, or changing "quivered the entire arena" to "shook the entire arena". The manga makes it look more like shaking than quivering, at least.

Formatting consistency:

Referring to a character as "Rank A" (Rank F, etc.) is probably good formatting as a proper title, but should we go:

  • A-rank (which the translator's rendering)
  • A-Rank (which I've been going changing everything to)
  • A Rank (can be grammatically ambiguous)
  • A rank (definitely ambiguous)
  • A-ranked

Or something else? My choice is due to the context often being a sentence like "Stella is an A-Rank."

For the formal title, should we go:

  • Mage-knight (the current form)
  • Mage-Knight (might be better as a title, compare Knight Bachelor)
  • mage-knight (not a proper noun, doesn't quite sound like a formal title)
  • mage knight? mage-knight?
  • magic knight?
