| + | ::What I personally do is to bold/italicize/change the color of whatever word it was meant for and I find that it works pretty well. See [[Shakugan_no_Shana:Volume5_Chapter1]] (though I think the line spacing is a bit squished...). You can also manually insert spaces to make it work eg. {{Furigana| bait... |the forbidden fruit}} but that looks pretty ugly in the source view.
