Is it me or has the author recently become a millenarist? Last HEAVY OBJECT volume is full of rants about the "World Clock" (which is just an out of control thought exercise that currently falls just shy of an apocalyptic religion) and this Index starts with the topic about the world's unavoidable demise (and I think there were some references about global warming and human's effect on the planetary life cycle in last Zashiki Warashi)...--Kemm (talk)

Laura Stuart to Lola Stuart
I figured I'd put this in here for people who are confused as to why Laura is now Lola. Her name is Japanese is ローラ, which can be romanized as Rora. There was no official English spelling given in the light novels, which led to everyone assuming it was Laura. New evidence came out in NT18 that her name is spelled Lola.

Js06 mentioned during his translation of NT18 that it should have always been spelled Lola. (See here and here.) -Ultranova17 (talk) 05:18, 19 May 2017 (CEST)

Visual Novels
I was recently rereading B-T's policies and found that they accept Visual Novel translations. With this in mind, I was considering having my translations of the Torau PSP VNs added here, possibly as external chapters. I already have finished the Index PSP game's story translation which can be found at https://jerutz.wordpress.com/index-psp/. The main difficulty for this VN is deciding the order of the chapters, as while each chapter features a linear story, most of the chapters can be played in any order.

The other VN I am currently working on is the Railgun PSP game, for which only the 1st chapter is fully translated and can be found at https://jerutz.wordpress.com/railgun-psp/. Unlike for Index, this game features branching story paths determined by player decisions. Naturally this makes the flow of the chapter more complex as one must jump from scene to scene based on their choices.

For both VNs, I make heavy use of screenshots to help tell the story. Due to this and the details previously listed, I feel that there may be advantages and disadvantages to posting them in B-T's wiki format, and the same can be said of simply adding them as external chapters.

So what I'd like to inquire about is firstly if it would be considered acceptable to post the VNs on this project and second which format would work best. For the later, I would encourage people to review my current format to familiarize themselves with the layout of each game. Let me know what you think or if you have any questions. --JeruTz (talk) 14:24, 6 July 2017 (CEST)

:I'm not the project manager, so I can't help you there, but I personally don't have a problem with it. I recall this place hosting a translation for the Clannad VN for a long time. Js06 had started a translation for the Railgun PSP game, but I don't think he ever finished it. From my files, it looks like he stopped somewhere in chapter 3.

:As for whether you use WordPress or BT, either works for me. You can probably use markup to make the BT page flow nicely, but it'd be easier to just use WordPress. Also, thanks a lot for taking the time to translate them. -Ultranova17 (talk) 18:16, 6 July 2017 (CEST)

::Yeah I'm thinking leaving it in wordpress might be better. The shear number of screenshots alone make it difficult to transfer. And since I finally perfected the internal linking for navigating the Railgun chapters the advantages of BT are far fewer.

::I actually did find JS06's translation in youtube videos, but the version I saw at the very least only covered one story path and as a result didn't cover all the scenes. If there is a completed version I'd be interested in seeing it. --JeruTz (talk) 16:30, 7 July 2017 (CEST)

Is there a distinction between the words world and universe in toaru.
The earth, the universe, and the world were nothing but a giant balloon. And a Magic God was a potted cactus wobbling on top of the balloon. That would cause anyone to panic. Once one learned of its existence, they would be worried around the clock that the cactus would eventually topple over as it moved freely about.-NT 12

The word universe is brought up separately to the word world and usually Kamachi only brings up the universe in relation to the big bang. Does this mean that there's a distinction between the word world and universe in the original japanese?
