To Aru Majutsu no Index vol. 1-6

I'm new and don't know much about the stuff, so sorry if this question has an obvious answer which I'm missing or anything.

Why aren't volumes 1-6 of "To Aru Majutsu no Index" here on this site?

I mean, how do we start reading it from volume 7 when we don't know what happened in the first 6 volumes.

that's because the anime's first season pretty much covers those volumes, the staff is planning on translating those volumes so keep checking the wiki for updates

i recommend that u watch the anime its really well done, obviously the novels have better details but u can watch the first season n then read the novels then they come out for better understanding of the series.
