Re: Obscure / Blurred Kanji help
Thanx. That will get me past that particular problem.
With regards to SFX, I have found the site http://thejadednetwork.com/sfx/ to be a wonderful resource. They aren't 100%, but mighty close.

Re: Obscure / Blurred Kanji help
Now I have a couple more blurred Kanji that I need help. Actually the first two I have about a 75% confidence on (though they confuse the hell out of me) and the last one I'm somehow missing something obvious.
The top one I believe is 昏
with the second one being 黎
The last one I'm just clueless on.
Any suggestions?
Also rpapo thanks for the SFX link.

Re: Obscure / Blurred Kanji help
Eusth this is a bit late but thank you for the assistance. I do believe that worked.
So I've come across yet another Kanji, this time I think it is deliberately written in either a really old style or italicized or something. Regardless it is more than a bit skewed and blurred. Which means this Kanji question may be the first of several.
It's the one highlighted in yellow. What I have so far is 予???運命. I "think" the first Kanji is right but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
Here's the first part if the context helps any:
偶然? 否、 それは違う
あの子の周りに起きたこと、そして今から起きることの全てが
予???運命の旋律上に、既に音色として刻み込まれているのだから
The triple ??? is where I am missing the Kanji.
Thanks!

予定運命の旋律上に、
Context wasn't necessary, as I've seen that combination before. In any case, looking up the first character in the Kodansha Learner's Dictionary, you can then scan down the common combinations and it comes right up. You can do a similar trick using Denshi Jisho (http://www.jisho.org/) by entering the first letter, then asking for combinations that start with that letter.

Re: Obscure / Blurred Kanji help
Actually I think I overlooked that one. I did what you suggested but nothing was really coming to me. Mostly because I assumed the middle part was a closed box of some sort. Thank you!
And here's one last one. I surprised myself by finding most of them, but this one last one is throwing me for a loop.
This time the context is in a spoiler. I'd almost bet money that you won't need it again. Your Kanji skills are sage like.
Edit: I'll bet that I smack my head over how obvious it should have been once it is revealed to me.

Re: Obscure / Blurred Kanji help
How about this? わたしは、こんなにも貴女を唆しているのだから
If I am right, then the secret this time was http://kanji.sljfaq.org/mr.html. Recognizing the lower part of the kanji as 夂, I clicked on that button. Then I looked for something with a small square in the upper left corner. Clicking on the one I found gave me the definition. Entering the corrected sentence into my Translator's Helper program (see viewtopic.php?f=31&t=4691), I saw that it fit the form of the sentence, and even had a meaning that made some sense. Whether it fits your story, I cannot say.

Re: Obscure / Blurred Kanji help
That seems to work. I had troubles with this one because I couldn't quite place any of the radicals. Given how stretched and skewed the rest of the page is I think you are right and it seems to fit the context very well. Thanks again!

Re: Obscure / Blurred Kanji help
I just came across this kanji in a completely unrelated chapter, do you think it might fit that second one better? 愛, In some ways it kinda makes sense.

Re: Obscure / Blurred Kanji help
I think Ai(愛) fits better... Even though the other makes sense, in the conteste 'Aishiteiru' fitted better though

Re: Obscure / Blurred Kanji help
For context's sake here's the sentence いくたえの森に木???は歌う
Also any suggestions on what いくたえ means? I'm a little baffled by it.

Re: Obscure / Blurred Kanji help
Sigh, next page had a few more.
First sentence includes both images 1 and 2.
その芽生え、わたしを?い、わたしと共に咲き?れ
Second sentence
世界があなたを?むのならば
