I realize that Harunako is currently registered for this volume but (s)he hasn't shown up to do anything as of May 15, as stated on the profile. Not trying to be picky, but should we try to make contact or let Kinny Riddle handle translations from here on out?

did s/he say may 15?

oh my, i thought it was june, because thats usually the end of higher education exams, right?

well, i will have to contact s/he and see what s/he says.

Any luck on that? He hasn't responded on Otyaku.com, either.

ah, good timing Velocity, just recieved an e-mail from Harunako today, s/he just came back from vacation so s/he said s/he will be starting this weekend.

There goes my chance of translating the whole book to myself. OnizukaGTO, can you please PM me his email address so we can discuss how to split the book up?

We've reached an agreement, he'll do the first half, including the prologue; while I'll do the second half and the epilogue + author's notes. I've updated the registration page as such.

What happened to Harunako?

She/he did say something about starting much later, harunako said end of june, i say July.

Oh well, who knows? maybe another translator might pick it up?

Okay, but if nothing happens by the time Kinny's done, Kinny should take over the entirety of volume 4.

well, if he had made an agreement with harunako, that'll be fine.

On the other hand if not, i suppose we can still publish the scripts up, if kinny has done the scripts, i'll just label them as preview specials, and when or if harunako decides to post his/her version of the script, we'll just take down kinny's version.

Basically, i can see the problem with the restricting registration method.

My opinion is that if a translator other then the one registered, has already translated the script FAR ahead of the registered member, and is willing to publish the script immediate, I do not see a valid reason to stop them, and to do so will only harm the project.

I suggest that we allow entire chapter scripts to be posted, designated as "preview" special sort of thing, and we will remove it when the registered translator can publish their version.

Anyways, Kinny Riddle's caught up now and could potentially write preview chapters for Volume 4 while Harunako is busy... is this viable?
