Agreed. I like what had been translated so far. Hoping for more.Mytheral wrote: Having read the translated manga and the parts of the LN posted up here... I'd have to say I like the translation up here better. The LN's translation seems more natural instead of the rather terse one in the manga.

Re: Strike The Blood
Just finished watching Ep 24 of the anime. I can't wait to read the LN translation (gonna wait a bit more for more of it to be translated so I can plop myself down and have a nice long read).
Just wondering, I can track the anime with the LN up to return of the alchemist based off the titless, but I can't seem to see where empire of the dawn comes in. Was that just inserted by the anime makers as a quasi ending in case there is no second season? Or does it relate to volume 7 of the LN since I noticed Riana (Reina?) was mentioned in V7 Ch1

Last two eps are based on side story "Strike the Blood:EX Yukina Before/After" (it was translated on animesuki forum), but it was to short for even one ep, so they added filers to it.

At the very least good enough for an enjoyable and adequate season finale. Now I wanna read the novels because this series has potential, a lot of that.Sacredus wrote:Last two eps are based on side story "Strike the Blood:EX Yukina Before/After" (it was translated on animesuki forum), but it was to short for even one ep, so they added filers to it.

@Sacredus Thanks for the explanation, even though it was "filled" I really liked itBGMaxie wrote:At the very least good enough for an enjoyable and adequate season finale. @BGMaxie I also think the same, can't wait for more translation. Hopefully they make a season 2??

Fairly late and unsure if you will even look at this but better then nothing.BGMaxie wrote:Just would like to know if this is going anywhere '-'
Kouen has taken a break from translating to deal with some RL stuff. No time frame for his return or if he will have the time/energy/drive to continue. Will just have to be patient and see.

Re: Strike the Blood
So I was reading vol.1 chap.2 and came across this sentence: "Even the suet that's covering the roads, are also emerging with hot air." and apparently suet is beef fatty tissue, and just doesn't sound right. Anyone have any good alternatives?

Re: Strike the Blood
I can't wait to read volume VII on wards. I prefer reading than watching anime. xD Thank you to who ever translates. On another note I noticed chapter 2 and 3 of volume 7 are blue instead of red. In other words someone started translating them or no?

Re: Strike the Blood
A translator registered for them and created the blank pages, but he/she hasn't been around for a few months, so I would guess there isn't any progress being made on them right now.Windsgrace wrote:In other words someone started translating them or no?

I wanted to thank whomever is translating this as well. I've been wanting to read this since the anime came out, so thanks to the translator(s). Appreciate it.
