ばか！バカ！　馬鹿ー月！

I'm interested in when the first Japanese web or light novel was fan translated into english. As this is one of the oldest translation sites I wondered if anyone still active has insights or leads I can look into. I know that this site was established for Suzumiya Haruhi back on April 15th, 2006. However, that doesn't tell if it was originally shared or posted elsewhere nor does it tell me if it is indeed the first. I haven't been in the community long enough to know for sure so any leads or directions I can be pointed would help.
