Is anyone as excited about Vakyria Chronicles 3 as I am? The US version just came out last month or something so I think some of you guys would be quite familiar with the series.

IS THERE ANYONE IN B-T WHO'S AS EXCITED ABOUT VALKYRIA CHRONICLES 3 AS I AM?

What came out last month was VC2 USA and EUR. Really liked VC2 here, and since I don't have a PS3, I can't play VC1.

But woah, to announce VC3 so soon, coming out in Japan, 27th January 2011. Seems like it's a 'Bad Company' version of VC1, so we'll see what next. Though it's said that it'll come out on the psp as well.

Im played the japanese version of vc2 when it came out in febuary this year so it's actually a year after it's first release. I saw a gameplay video of the demo that was available during the japanese games convention last week and it's confirmed that we get to control a real valkyria :O Apparently VC3'll have a PS3 version as well, it's because psp games take a shorter period of time to make that they're releasing it first o_O

Same here, I played VC2 when it came out in February as well. It's just that I go to a certain website to check out the psp releases.

Sega sure is getting fast with their releases of VC now. It's like how YGO is making one psp game every year. Or those sports game companies making one every year.

They did say that it might be available for PS3 (I guess it'll come out anyway, fans are still complaining that VC2 didn't come out for PS3). The problem I see here though is the features. (I'm okay with graphics, and since it's VC, there shouldn't be any problems). It's like those sports games for 360 and PS3 compared to PSP, the control support for the former two is too great.

I think VC3 on the PS3 will be more expansive and strategic, since there're more buttons on a PS3 controller and how the PS3 will be able to support maps that really give you a sense of proportion, instead of the mini maps on the psp. Just think of all the people they'll be able to fit on a PS3 map and how many more special abilities they can add with the expansive control scheme (they've already added action-mode commands for the vc3 on the psp) /drools

Not really cause I never play the 1st one nor do I have a ps3. also the third one isn't coming out for the ps3 either.

I still have till now only played the beginning of 1...

I'm kinda not a fan of 2.

The rebels are really bad with their strategies. They should have attacked the school with their V2s around April or so to quickly take the south with barely any resistance.

I also doubt the army stationed in the capital can defend against an assault by a few V2s. I'm pretty sure their sponsors can provide the resources for both offensives

Gameplay wise, it's way too easy. Commandos are literally tearing apart everything I don't need the light tank B for. Hell, the bosses can be taken out with a few fencer swings -_-

So with that out of the way, I'm already drooling at 3

I agree. 2 ramps up the difficulty level by throwing more enemies with higher hitpoints at you -_-

Yeah 3 looks brilliant with team commands, and we finally get to control a valkyria!

Any news on the forth game in the series?
