Hmm let me try this, however I want to say that my list is in no way in order of merit since I love RPGs all almost equally haha!

1: Mass Effect Series
2: The Elder Scrolls Series
3: Final Fantasy Series
4: Fallout Series
5: DragonAge Series
6: Knights of the Old Republic Series
7: Might and Magic Series (A classic I'm sure most may not have heard of)
8: The Witcher Series
9: Dues Ex
10: Baldur's Gate Series

If you noticed most in my list would be the series of the games haha! I guess if the game is good it would naturally create sequels which is why it would become a series.

Skyrim is my all time favorite game. It allows you to heavely mod the game, create new villages, npcs, enemies, you can even import armors and other stuffs from another game.

This game is excellent.

While this may or may not be in my top 10, I must say that Ys: Origins makes for one heck of a game. I have found it to be quite enjoyable and fun, particularly because grinding does not necessarily always feel like grinding. Also, the music makes the game even more interesting while the story is good but somewhat cute.

1. Tales series (especially Abyss, my all-time favorite)
2. Chrono Trigger
3. Disgaea series (and some of Nippon-Ichi's side games - Soul Nomad was extremely funny and extremely underestimated)
4. Elder Scrolls (not Japanese, but whatever)
5. Final Fantasy 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 12 (I didn't like the rest, and for some reason I enjoyed the ones divided by 3 the most, so I'm expecting a lot from 15)
6. Legend of Mana (loved the music and entire feel of this game)
7. Star Ocean 1 & 2
8. Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and Link to the Past
9. Shining Force Series
10. The World Ends with You

I never owned a Gamecube, so I didn't finish that one, I've only played it a bit at a friend's. But what I enjoyed about Abyss was the story and the character development (I hated some of the characters at first, and then I actually started liking them), and I've played the entire game 2P, which was also a first.

Been hooked to Disgaea lately, really good game with in-depth mechanics and a lot of post-game material (even more than the actual story mode)
