Great...

Why did Higurashi have to land in the hands of the worst translators?

That's not what I meant.
Strange target though... Especially since Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni isn't a H-game. They're probably are trying to get another audience, since their translations have a bad reputation due to their low quality, and that they come with hefty DRM.

I also do have to complain that the other translation wiki removed all the translation patches for the games produced by Nitro+.
Whilst I understand why they stopped the projects themselves, it's quite annoying that they removed the files especially due to that we don't know how long it will take for them to translate, and produce the titles.

If we are fortunate, the licensor will just buy the translation off of the online translation group for dimes. Thus, we will get a better translation and a quicker release time! 8)

ainsoph9 means that if the company buys from an already existing fan translation group, we can see a good and fast higurashi coming out... and there are several groups out there doing translations, though i have no idea when they will finish all the arcs.
God!!
You need not forgive me.
For those I love,
The violence brought about by sinful men
Shall now be used once more.
If you were created to save this world,
If there is a single shred of hope left for the future of mankind,
I am very sorry, but, please begone!

I believe we are speaking of this: http://sonozakifutagotachi.blogspot.com/ translation group.

Edit:
DAMN COWARDS!

Not even the translation of the demo left? Hell they didn't have to remove that.
