Cause it's more manly that way! Come on, if there was a world war starting tommorow, don't you think having battles sticks and swords is more exciting than war where you push a button?Umiman wrote:Question:
Why does a civilization that can produce massive 6 floor high transforming super robots of extreme agility, flying mountain fortresses, stealth fields, anti-gravity devices and laser cannons, resort to using catapults, balistas, and arrows to fight wars?
BFG anyone?

Pushing a button can be very satisfying.
Any game with super weapons proves it. Who cares about commanding gigantic armies. A button push and supreme destruction is always cooler.
Anything is better if all we have to do is press a button.
Feeling horny? Press the red button for extreme 9 on 1 action!
Feeling bored? Press the blue button for extreme 9 on 1 action!
Feeling tired? Press the green button for extreme 9 on 1 action!
Don't you think so?
