Wow, it's actually pretty good. I rate it as 0.7 of a LoGH.

Too bad it's so short though.

It has quite a few novels out. I can't wait for them to get translated. 8)

But... novels can't render fight scenes. :/

All the concepts about immortality, solipsism, and epiphenomalism that this anime discusses is really basic and simplistic; thus, I think anyone who has read anything about metaphysics will laugh at how these characters treat these issues. Hence... not much point in reading the novels other than for fanservice. And where's the giant orbital cannon? The only thing I saw remotely close to one was the satellite in the final scene.
