The release date was delayed from 12/28 to Undetermined. Some say it won't be out until February.

Editedit: I'd like to propose the translated title of the book be "The Activities of Suzumiya Haruhi" since 奔走 means effort/activity. "Bustle/Rush" can also fit but doesn't sound as good without the context of purposeful effort.

It's probably trying to be the opposite of "Boredom." So I like Activities, only because "busyness" sounds odd.

machination is related to thinking, to make a plot. Doesn't sound like the world "activity" tries to convey.
