Rofl, I remember that darned quote. It's almost as awful as the Terran's vulture.

But the BEST quote in the history of Blizzard quotes has to be "STOP POKING ME!!". That's pure genius I tell you ;P (Along with the exploding sheep)

When I played starcraft in the CC few months ago, everyone was obsessed with Protoss. "I'll wipe you out with my scary carriers! First I'll start by summoning a Gateway! Then I'll build ANOTHER Gateway! Then I'll summon my first Zealot! Aha, there he is! Then I'll summon another zealot---"

"YOU HAVE NOT ENOUGH MINERALS!"

And there are my little Zerglings munching happily on his probes. Poor dude~ ;P

Not if you gang bang him with all 6 at once. Zealots are expensive and take forever to train. Zergies on the other hand are dirt cheap, fast, and easily replacable.

I don't remember Protoss being that hard to quickly train up. I usually had a nice army of about 12 or so zealots before someone "rushed" me. Just gotta make some good decisions about when to build another Probe or Pylon and Gateway.

I dunno, I've always rushed with 6 or so zerglings. Fastest game I've ever played was around 6 minutes.

Or maybe we Malaysians are plain weird ;P

If Toss and Zerg are the same level Toss will have 2-3 zeals and a probe vs 6-8 lings. With the right micro toss will win. A zeal can 2 shot a ling with 1 melee upgrade. Thats why its an upgrade rush vs zerg.

Hmm, this is how I rush:

1- Send all 4 drones to harvest minerals, buy an additional drone.
2- Use the additional drone to harvest, send the overlord somewhere else.
3- Buy another drone and use it to scout the map (Or, if in a cyber cafe, walk over to my opponent's computer to see where he's located ;P)
4- Spend 200 minerals to build a spawning pool, continue to scout for opponent.
5- Once opponent is found, drone probably dies. Set rally point before the opponent's base.
6- While waiting for the spawning pool, purchase 1 overlord.
7- Begin rush after pool is complete by turning 3 larvae into zerglings (3x2 = 6 zerglings)
8- Keep base tabbed and buy zerglings as soon as larvae are ready.

So in short I will have 2 overlords and only 4 drones mining for resources. I do not have any extractors or drones harvesting vespene gas. That's how I've always rushed. No upgrades whatsoever.

Are you kidding? Siege tanks are key to any terran army. Tanks + Medic/Marine combo vs Zerg and Tanks + Vultures/Goliaths vs Toss. Tanks are the shit.

Haha once I played a 20 minute no rush game with my friends on one of those massive resource maps. Bout 20 mins into the game, I sent a zergling to his base and found a 3 layer thick photon cannon defense around his entire island. He then showed me his screen, his entire base was completely full of Stargates (except for his resource area. So basically... I couldn't see because of the carriers.

Mass carriers is a pretty n00bish move especially on money maps. They actually work in long Toss vs Terran games with 3-4 carriers. but then terran grabs 6-8 wraiths and targets them one by one. Depends on your opponent I guess.
