Despite the fact the color illustration scans publicly available look very nice, the B&W scans have a little bit left to be promised. They're dithered, indexed-color type scans. I can attempt to clean them out some, but if anyone can get some new scans of this volume, that'd be great.

I'll give it a try later. I just hope I can get a good scan without tearing out the page.

Second one...
If these two look ok, I'll scan the rest with the same specs. But tell me if you want a higher resolution, or something.

Looks great so far. What scanner are you using? Try to keep as much of the really light grays as possible.
Also for that first illustration, it's probably better if done at a higher resolution, then rotated 90 degrees and then the new height changed to 800 afterward.

Images are taking too much space on the posts

I noticed that I forgot to crop some white space at the right side for the second image, so I updated that also.
